Winters, Love and Memories by Piyush Kumar

Winters, Love and Memories: 1

O
n frozen fog

of your glass window
did you ever write
my name with fingers

That fog has just returned
freezes at my window
with your name

Winters, Love and Memories: 2

O
n those chilled evenings
by putting two fingers to lips
released steam like a cigarette
how much you used to laugh

This winter
that steam of yours
melts in my eyes

Winters, Love and Memories: 3

L
ast Winter at the 'Nukkad' Café
putting your hand on my hand
you said with your eyes
let me pay the bill
how warm were your hands

Right now in the jacket pocket
I holds the bits of the same bill
Once again you placed
your warm hands
on my hand

Winters, Love and Memories: 4

I
t's so cold
tie a scarf
while driving your scooty
I had said
in the left view mirror
you said smiling
then how will I look at you

Now I am on my bike
in the view mirror
I see a long lonely road
